Cleverness Is an Evolution By-Product

Many people are clever. But, cleverness is not necessarily synonymous with intelligence. Shrewdness develops through trial and error during evolution.  So, yes, we are clever. But, I feel that universal intelligence has suffered at the hands of the mind’s ingenuity. And, cleverness masks itself in many forms. What lies at the root of cleverness? It is not easy to determine the baseline of our cunning. Cunningness, in itself can be creative. But, ego as a strong influence on our behavior. These reactions then manifest through our experiences. Emotions also play an influential role in the use of cleverness. Emotions are, however, instinctive and natural. Furthermore, every life-form has certain tendencies that we would label as emotional. It is the ego’s influence that makes our emotional state so perplexing. It is a vicious cycle.

Mind conditioning is at the root of our daily interactions. And, the use of cleverness often initiates this behavior. These factors contribute to our general lack of conscious awareness. Lack of conscious awareness allows a preconditioned chain of reactions to occur in our experiences. A person lacking conscious life awareness would never give these patterns any real attention. Most people react to mind-made delusions of life without considering that there is something more to living life. Likewise, the majority of people remain oblivious to the fact that we are free-falling in a field of pure energy. This energy pulsates with frequencies. Thus, this energy, is in a sense alive, as well as have the potential to be conscious of itself. Do you feel the relationship between life and love? A person lacking life awareness is coincidentally lacking true love awareness.

Discover the Path to All Possibilities

Usually, the mind bases our daily activities on routine and repetition. But why? Is everything really so tedious? The mind triumphantly says yes, it is all so mundane. Furthermore, the mind insists that this is normal because living life is dull. The mind is capable of many feats. But, pure creativity is not necessarily a mind creation. In fact, it is likely that the mind just hit the emergency brake. The mind will tell you that I am crazy for making such a statement. Nonetheless, I suggest that you continue reading and simply let the mind babble on. Remember, never take the mind too seriously. Thus, you discover that living life is so much more than the thoughts about living life.

Creativity is a blossoming flower that originate within the silence between thoughts. It is in this stillness that the process of conscious awakening occurs. This acknowledgement offers a beneficial sign post on our inner journey. We can call this silence the unmanifested energy of consciousness. Or let’s simply use the expression conscious awareness for our discussion purposes. This is a haven of calmness in the midst of any mind-made storm. So, how do we discover this vastness?  Life, love, and all that is creative are here between words, between thoughts, and even between emotions.

Isness of Life Is to Live and Be Here Now

Here is an example that we can use to illustrate the benefits of staying in the isness of now. Presence manifests without any reference to the mind storybook or our existence. The following insight relates to the recent article Storybook Experiences of the Mind.

isness

The isness of the moment is similar to receiving an empty box. You are truly aware that the carton is empty when you are consciously awake. You see the box for what it is in that moment. Whereas the unconscious person will likely say, what do I want with an empty box? Or will say, this box is nothing but garbage. There is usually expectations, frustrations or joy associated with receiving the box.

However, the awakened person will likely experience heightened creativity. There is more conscious space, and even more awareness to the isness of the moment. The empty box offers a doorway to the universe. Many of us have experienced this as children. A child, when given an empty box, often will concentrate solely on what is there. Still, the child does not see just an empty box. Rather, children become the isness of now. What does this mean? This means that they are consciously aware of the moment. Therefore, each experience heightens their awareness. Thus, spontaneous and ongoing creativity occurs.  Continue reading

Concepts of the Mind: Life without Definitions

Life and love concepts evolved early in our existence. This was due to the development of intelligence, creativity and object consciousness. Moreover, these concepts began to impact our existence in various manners. Furthermore, there was suddenly a demanding need to interpret and define the changes in our evolution. However, do not confuse this with our species evolutionary physical and mental adaptation. Suddenly, it was not enough to simple live. We are expanding mentally and emotionally. The mind tells us we are experiencing something. It demands that we define and label these experiences as living and loving.

Human creativity nurtures the minds necessity for labels and definitions. Our species needs to identify itself, the universe and life. The mind insists that we will find the answers “out there” somewhere. This was the start of our unquenchable need to explain what we are experiencing through thoughts and actions. This “demand to know” expands far beyond defining our immediate surrounding. Furthermore, it is difficult to extinguish object (self) consciousness curiosity once it is ignited; or can we? The mind asks questions and tells stories. This restricts us from acknowledging that we already have everything within. We don’t even need to search for it. Continue reading
