Existentialism Within the Flow of Life

Existentialism is a word that expresses something we can commonly call, how we live here and now. Furthermore, we live best when we fully live within the moment. Thus, we are responsible for how we live through the act of conscious or unconscious beingness.

existentialism

Philosophers throughout our history share a mutual understanding that we co-create the manifestation of life. Furthermore, our participation in life is either active or passive (conscious or unconscious). This basically suggests that being aware of, and actively participating within, this moment results in life becoming authentic. Wikipedia shares the following information about two of these philosophers. I paraphrase the excepts.

Søren Kierkegaard (1813 – 1855) was a Danish philosopher. He is regarded as the first existentialist philosopher, though he did not use the term existentialism. He proposed that each individual—not society or religion—is solely responsible for giving meaning to life and living it passionately and sincerely, or ‘authentically’.

Jean-Paul Charles Aymard Sartre (1905 – 1980) was a French philosopher. He wrote. At first man is nothing. Only afterward will he be something, and he himself will have made what he will be.

The Grey Zone We Call Life

Active awareness is available to us. However, let’s be honest with ourselves. We basically live neither here nor there. The following article illustrates our tendency to stay within a grey zone. So, please sit in silence. Become aware of the background clutter within this moment. But, don’t attach yourself to these distractions. It seems difficult. Nevertheless, try. Surprisingly, you might discover that insignificant details congest 99 percent of your now experience. What does this mean? This suggests that what the mind deems as real is only conceptional and unrelated to the essence of this moment.

grey

A state of conscious being has nothing to do with the content of this moment. This may sound confusing. Nevertheless, confusion and fear arise easily in this grey zone. It is a place that seldom offers long-term satisfaction and fulfillment. And, it often holds us captive in a limbo state of existence. What does this featureless area mean in relation to consciousness?

Firstly, a conditioned mind causes a lack of conscious awareness to the mind’s activities. You might insist that you are very aware of the mind activities. But, actually, thoughts and emotions congest awareness. Thus, it might appear that you are aware. But, you are only aware of the manipulative details of a given moment. Awareness to the moment itself, is different than the distractions that come and go. The grey zone is an existential structure resulting from a lack of depth and focus in our conscious awareness. Furthermore, this pattern of living has become the standard in our daily experiences. So, do you wish to change how you live life? Then, ask yourself the following question. Continue reading

Love Will Show You the Way

Love Will Show You the Way: Book Publication

You can pre-order the Kindle version (readable in all devices) of my newest book Love Will Show You the Way. The publication date will be June 1, 2020 for paperback and Kindle. The book offers in-depth ideas and insights into how to love and live more consciously. I dive deep into the topics. But, have done my best to offer the material in an interesting and easily readable manner.

Love Will Show You the Way

You will find stepping stones to conscious awakening within the pages. Also, there will be pages that might leave you scratching your head. This is a proper metaphor illustrating how the mind will react to some of the areas offered in the book.

This is part of the process as we awaken and is fine. Remember. You are not your thoughts. Therefore, it is not necessary to attach yourself to them. The book gives you a stepping stone to practice letting go and accepting a conscious state of being.  Loving and living in harmony with life is your birthright. Continue reading

Fix yourself and Change the Universe

We love to fix things. But the following insight is about much more than solutions to so-called problems. Please slowly read the following sentence. Everything reflects the inner universe. Is this accurate? Observe the mind. Does your reality consist of mind-made fabrications? Or is there a space of clarity surrounding daily experiences? Choosing one or the other determines what will manifest.  Observation of the mind is the first step to the awakening consciousness transformation.

fix

Are you unhappy or even angry at yourself, others, and the world? Do you want to fix something? If yes, then it is likely that the mind thinks outside forces are causing problems. Please don’t let this confuse you. Of course, there are things that need repair or adjustments. We must repair a flat tire. Or replace a broken window. These are conditions of our existence. And are superficial. However, what about you? Have you every looked deep within? Continue reading
