The Air That I Breathe

You are the essence of spring.
Your smile shines like the sun after the rain.
This warmth and beauty highlight the magnificence of life.
Your laughter is a symphony.
Pure and so alive.
Everyone must only deeply listen to understand.
Unfortunately, there are still but a few that become aware.
Your eyes shine brighter than the stars.
Each is heavenly blazing and dancing.
It is as pleasingly as a dream.
Your innocence shines forth with a wisp of wisdom.
You intoxicate all with your presence.
Thus, this reveals the bliss of life.
You are precious… like the air I breathe.

breathe

Look there. A tree blossoms before your eyes. Now breathe deeply and allow the tree to reach out to you. It is inviting you to lead the dance of life. Each limb and leaf are pulsating with universal life energy. Furthermore, your awareness stimulates this energy You decide the manifestation and rhythm of the dance. Life, more accurately, the universe eagerly vibrates to the energy you manifest through the inner universe.

Each person is the manifestation of springtime through the life energy we share. As is true for all experiences. Yes, people forget. And, then there is misunderstanding, frustration, anger and fear. Nevertheless, everything shares a universality through the presence of being. Therefore, let life flow as you continue on a path of inner self-discovery. Consciousness, life and unconditionally living go hand in hand. Continue reading

A State of Being Beyond Empathy

Equanimity is a state of balance between mind and consciousness. Leonard Nimoy played the character Spock in Star Trek. Spock depicts a person capable of experiencing thoughts and emotions. But, never (well at least almost never 😊) let these human attributes control his state of being.

Indifference and non-attachment to thoughts, emotions, people, or situations nurtures clarity. Of course, empathy is useful in practical situations. And, even sympathy is beneficial in our interactions. However, these emotions actually cause an imbalance in an unaware person’s state of being. On the other hand, the practice of equanimity changes how you see yourself, the mind, and everything around you.

Here is the Wikipedia’s link and info for Equanimity (inner peace).  We innate know that there is calmness within the spaciousness of presence. But, the mind still has a strong influence over our perception of living life. Especially, when too many thoughts and emotions overshadow our awareness of here and now. Continue reading

Experience Calmness of Mind and Body

Calmness is a state of balance between mind and consciousness. We can describe this calm state as being equanimous. Leonard Nimoy played the character Spock in Star Trek. Spock depicts a person capable of experiencing thoughts and emotions. But, never (well at least almost never 😊) let these human attributes control his state of being.

The Footpath of Least Resistance

A pathway can reveal clarity or confusing. What is the deciding element during the journey? You, because you are the way. The Way is not the path itself. Nor, is it you as the person. Instead, it is how you travel this trail. The way is permanence. And, you take one step and then the next. But, will each step be unconsciously or consciously taken?  A footpath commonly indicates a simpler means of travel. Then why does the way often seem so complex? Remember, you are the way. Therefore, you cause the complications. The path is simply a path.

footpath

Thus, the footpath is helpful during conscious awakening. Whereas, the way is unavoidable. However, it can be a transition that will change everything. This depends on how you experience it. Laozi (Lao Tzu) shared profound wisdom in his insight about The Way. His teachings offer us the experience of simplicity as we travel on the path. He does not share details about what we encounter. But, he does suggest living consciously along the way. Continue reading

Nike Wisdom: Just Do It

The act of thinking can cause us to detour away from consciousness. Likewise, this can be very manipulative and restrictive. You are alive! Living is primarily about being. Obviously, we do not really need to think about living. This discussion is an extension of the recent article Restrictions of Life and love. This long-running (no pun intended) Nike tennis shoe commercial offers us a universal wisdom of living.

Nike wisdom

The company’s philosophy is “Just Do It”. Nike naturally wants to promote the sale of shoes. Still, the simplicity of this insight is profound in regards to existence. Likewise, this wisdom can be very beneficial in our conscious awakening process. Also, living becomes simplified when we just do it (just allow it). Yet, additionally, there is something for us to consider. To simply be and to allow does not necessarily imply doing anything. Presence implies doing through the simple act of being. Wisdom of Life is Felt through Being

I hope that you are well and enjoying a wonderful day. The wisdom beyond Eckhart Tolle’s insight is profound because being (existence) is the manifestation of life. Therefore, to truly live means that we should feel it. It pulsates through everything.

Being must be felt. It can’t be thought.
– Eckhart Tolle

You cannot use conventional concepts, whether spoken or written, to express the simple act of being.  These can, at best, serve as pointers or sign posts. However, our focus should be on what is beyond these stepping stones and pathways. Furthermore, beyond the mind is the universal intelligence that offers wisdom that is an innate part of our being.

I wish to share a few plans, wishes and hopes with you. I am rebuilding my website step by step and have decided that patience and non-attachment are wise for me to use in its construction; relating to design layout, pages and material to share. Additionally, my wish is to offer an oasis that will provide articles, videos, quotes and links relating to spirituality, philosophy, psychology and personal growth. Continue reading
